A variety of development projects for the Nuffield Institute, various departments within Leeds University and the NHS, as part of my industrial placement, and then continuing as freelance work. Work involved database and web page development.
Projects
Food Risk Internet Questionnaire Study
Exposure to requirements capture, analysis, design; Development and maintenance of a large database system, website and Internet questionnaire. Also one to one training on how to use new features of the systems.
Helicobacter Pylori – Database system
Design and developed a MS Access database to assistance the evaluation of the cost of treating NHS patients with Helicobacter Pylori disease.
Technologies: HTML, Perl CGI, MS Access 97, VBA, DB2, full life-cycle development, exposure to Project Management, one to one user training.
